LABORTEST - Does a membrane filtration process make sense for me?
Filtration by means of polymer membranes represents only a part of all separation processes that are possible from a process engineering point of view. Whether the use of a membrane process makes economic sense for your individual application is determined in a laboratory test.
For this purpose, we operate a number of laboratory filtration plants at the Erkrath site that have been specially designed for testing purposes – using state-of-the-art technology.
The CUT team is looking forward to your call and will discuss the possibilities and requirements with you individually on the basis of a screening test.
Filtration technology on a pilot scale
In addition to laboratory tests to investigate the suitability of a general membrane separation process for your process, the next step is to pilot it on site.
During piloting, filtration modules of conventional dimensions and filter area are generally installed in order to provide a realistic picture of the process in terms of hydraulics and all other operating parameters. Thus – on a smaller scale/or in bypass – the later scale up can be simulated, at a manageable cost and time.
We will be happy to support you in the design and rental of suitable plant technology. In addition, we offer to carry out or accompany the commissioning of our filtration modules as well as the piloting.

For various reasons, it may be helpful for you to know a competent contact person in your vicinity for all filtration issues.
It doesn’t matter if it’s about re-equipping an existing plant with CUT filtration modules, clarifying questions about an existing process – or even a completely new membrane filtration project in your company.
